R8C13-Ctrl V1.0

Basics

The R8C13-Ctrl is an experimental board for the R8C/13 controller from Renesas, similar to our famous AVR-Ctrl.

The Controllers R8C11, R8C12, R8C13 and other pincompatible controllers can be used in this board.

The PBC can be directly assembled with the controller (SMD). Also the Glyn (and Elektor) R8C-Module can be placed onto the board.
You don't need a special ISP-Interface, the chip can be programmed via the serial RS232 interface, without setting jumpers or manual resetting.
Renesas suplies a free compiler!

The LCD is compatible to the Elektor-Sources Elektor: 01/2006.

All portpins are connected to solderpins .

Tips for assembling

If you don't yuse a GLYN-Board, you can place the Chip directly.
